What is "Disability Income Insurance Month?"
Last Updated on April 10, 2023 by The Hanna Agency Editorial Staff

The Headline. Disability Income Insurance is insurance you can purchase to make sure that, should you become injured and unable to work, that part of your income is protected. "Disability Income Insurance Month" is a month to raise awareness of this insurance.

You've probably heard of a lot of different types of heritage or "awareness raising" months. There's Black History Month in February. There's Women's History in March. LGBTQ+ in June. (In fact, it's kind of fun to see how many there are. Here's a link that provides a guide.)

The reason there are so many of these "awareness-raising" months is because, well, they work.

That's why - with LifeHappens - the Hanna Agency is proud to celebrate Life Insurance Awareness Month in September, Insure Your Love in February, Long Term Care Insurance Month in November and Disability Income Insurance Month in May.
